At Big Sky Staffing, we understand that business needs can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring that the time and resources dedicated to your staffing requirements are respected.

Cancellation Terms

Temporary or Contract Staffing

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the assignment.

  • If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the assignment start time, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the first day’s rate will be charged.

Permanent Placement Services

  • If you choose to cancel a permanent placement request after candidates have been presented but before an offer is made, a fee of 25% of the agreed placement fee will apply.

  • If the cancellation occurs after an offer has been extended and accepted, you will be responsible for 50% of the agreed placement fee to cover recruitment and administrative costs.

Special Projects or Consulting Roles

  • Cancellations for special projects or consulting roles must be made at least 7 business days before the project start date to avoid penalties.

  • Cancellations made within 7 business days of the start date will incur a fee of 25% of the total project cost or a prorated fee for work already completed, whichever is higher.

How to Cancel a Staffing Request

To cancel a staffing request, please contact your Big Sky Staffing representative directly or email us at contact@bigskystaffing.com with the following details:

  • Your company name and contact information.

  • The name of the candidate (if applicable).

  • The role or project for which staffing was requested.

  • The reason for cancellation.

Refund Policy for Cancellations

  • Refunds for cancellations made within the required notice period will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation.

  • Any applicable fees for late cancellations will be deducted before refunds are issued.

Exceptions

No cancellation fees will apply in cases where:

  • The cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances that have been discussed and mutually agreed upon.

  • The candidate or Big Sky Staffing fails to meet pre-established conditions for the assignment or project.
